Attorney Catherine Shannon Christie

Catherine (Kate) Christie is a member of our trial practice team. Her practice focuses on highly complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters, and she has represented clients with respect to a wide range of legal issues over the course of her career. Kate has also defended individuals and corporations before state and federal regulatory agencies and those accused of criminal conduct, including fraud, violations of securities laws, money laundering, RICO violations, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations. In addition to trial work, she has also represented clients before the Third District Court of Appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Kate began her professional career as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles R. Wilson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, serving a two-year term. While attending law school at Stetson University College of Law, she served as the Editor in Chief of the Stetson Law Review and had the distinction of graduating third in her class.
